Kent L. McRae
Kent McRae joined Mease Manor, Inc. in December 2016. His 34-year career in the healthcare field has been spent in multi-site nursing home management and continuing care retirement communities, focusing on community planning, design and expansion.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas – Monticello with a B.A. in Communications and Miami University (Ohio) with a Master in Gerontological Studies, he was the Senior Vice-President of Moorings Park in Naples, Florida for eleven years. Prior to that, he was the President of Inverness Village in Tulsa, Oklahoma, taking it through a very successful start-up phase; Executive Vice-President Of Otterbein Homes, a not-for-profit provider of continuing care retirement communities throughout Ohio; President of Trinity Village, in Arkansas; and Senior Administrator for Beverly Enterprises, also in Arkansas.
Chief Financial Officer/Vice President of Finance
Ed joined Mease Manor as the chief financial officer in June 2012. He has worked in the senior housing and health care industry for over 30 years. He developed industry software that is being used in over 300 facilities in 40 states and was a licensed nursing home administrator. Ed served as the executive vice president for a Florida development company where he helped develop and operate three continuing care retirement communities in the state. Immediately prior to joining Mease Manor he served as Vice President of Operations for an upscale continuing care retirement community in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Director of Culinary Services
Ms. Erickson joined Mease Manor in 2012 and brings over 30 years of experience in culinary services arenas, including country clubs, universities and restaurants. As a 10-year employee of the Sodexo Senior Services Division, she finds service to seniors extremely rewarding. Ms. Erickson received her Bachelor of Arts in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Mercyhurst University, Erie, PA.
Mary Kay Klinge, LNHA
Administrator, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Mease Memory Care
Mary Kay Klinge has been a member of the Mease Manor leadership team for 31 years and is currently the Administrator for Mease Manor Independent Living, Assisted Living and Mease Memory Care. She was an integral part of the successful launch of Mease Assisted Living in 1992 and for Mease Manor Memory Care, which was opened in January, 2017.
Ms. Klinge is a licensed nursing home administrator with a degree in Health Care Administration from St. Petersburg College and certification as an Administrator of Assisted Living.
Vice President, Marketing and Business Development
Lea Richmond joined Mease Manor in May of 2017. A graduate of Colorado State University, Lea is a highly experienced marketing professional in the area of Senior Living and a former president of Senior Living Options of Tampa and Sun City. Her basic training in customer service was gained through the Walt Disney World Resort training program, one of the foremost programs for customer and resident service in the nation.
Ms. Richmond is a strong believer in developing partnerships and relationships with other industry professionals and business partners to strengthen resident programs and education.
Mike Mahan, LNHA
Vice President of Health Services, Administrator at Mease Continuing Care
Mike Mahan joined Mease Manor, Inc. in January of 2017 with over 30 years experience in healthcare, including skilled nursing facilities. He comes to Mease Continuing Care from Palmyra, Pennsylvania, where he served as Vice President of Health Services for Lebanon Valley Brethren Home. He also served as Executive Director of Birch Bay Village in Bar Harbor, Maine, Executive Director of Presbyterian Village in Little Rock, Arkansas, and in various roles for Methodist Senior Services.
While with MSS, Mr. Mahan was part of the team that established the first Greenhouse Homes in the United States, and he remains a true believer in the principles of the Eden Alternative. Mr. Mahan is a Past President of the Presbyterian Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, as well as a past board member of Leading Age Gulf States.
McCullough (Cully) Buchanan
Vice President of Human Resources
Cully Buchanan joined Mease Manor, Inc. in February of 2017, with 20 years of experience in Human Resources. She comes to us from Virginia, where she served as the Senior Director of Human Resources for Universal Health Services, Inc., supporting 11 locations throughout Virginia, Maryland, and DC. Her prior roles include Director of Human Resources for Medical Facilities of America and Regional Human Resources Manager with Rehab Management, Inc., supporting 50 long-term care facilities, in three states.
Ms. Buchanan has also served as an Executive Committee Member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, as a Committee member and Judge for the Richmond Society for Human Resource Management “Employer All-Star Award” Selection for Employee Engagement and Retention, as an Executive Committee Member for the Virginia Society for Healthcare Human Resources Association, and as a Committee Member for (FACES) Family Advocacy Creating Education and Services, where she testified before the General Assembly on behalf of Mental Health Courts.
Executive Director of Building Services, CEOE, CHSP
Mary McCarthy joined the Mease Manor community in December of 2014, bringing more than 30 years experience in the hospitality industry where she served as Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering for many of the best 4 diamond hotels in Florida. Ms. McCarthy has extensive experience in operations, capital planning and execution and has planned and overseen many major renovation projects. Originally from Chicago, she attended DePaul University and gained her technical training at Tampa Bay Trane, ITT Technical institute, Irwin Vocational Tech. She has obtained many certifications including CEOE (Certified Engineering Operations Executive), CPO (Certified Pool Operator), Food Safety Manager and most recently Certified Healthcare Safety Professional.
